For those of you who came today – you know how wonderful today’s Farmers Market was. Where in the world coud you get a fresh egg, local bacon, local bread sandwich for $4? Non other than the “Green Grocer Catering” If you missed it-Shame on you! What else did you miss? Zillions of seedlings for your garden! Nicky’s Breatkfast Burrito that sold out at 11:00. Franco’s sausages that also sold out at 11:00. Min-Hee Hill Farm farm fresh lettuce that you will never get to taste.

The Kidz Dig It Club was amazing. All tote bags were colored and gone! All Birdhouses were painted and gone! All Veggie Art decorted and Gone! Thanks Kids. We love you all.

Seeing Kids at the market brings back many memories of me being a kid! Kids helping their mom and dad learn what local is all about! They unloaded the truck, helped set up their space, helped keeping everyting clean. And helped the customer. At the end of the day the kids said – “We don’t want to go home.” I remember selling home slaughtered and cleaned chickens on the ranch and then taking to Town to sell. We need more of this at the market to carry on the tradition.
