The Farmers Market joined the Windsor Wellness Partnership on Sunday on the Windsor Town Green with picture perfect weather. The market was full of huge big red Rasberries and Blackberries just perfect for jams, eating, and smoothies. The Kidz Dig It club made 85 Pizza’s – and ate them too. Shopping the market with Market Chef, Mei Ibach, the kids all returned to the Culinary Pavilion and with the help of the Windsor High School Culinary made their very own lunch packed full of veggies, protein, and grains.

The first of the Tomatoes were at the market and the Stone Fruit is fabulous for pies and smoothies or to eat fresh too. Lots of Food at the Market which included Vero’s Mexican Cuisine, Charlie’s BBQ, and Green Grocer, Joe Reuter. Also lots of picnic ideas with breads, cheese, hummus, and sweets were enjoyed by all.

The Windsor Garden Club had many kids activities and were busy all day answering gardening questions. Local guitarist Hank Levine was a market favorite. Life just doesn’t get any better.
