Are you tired of serving onion dip? Cherries have a very short season! Cherries are great for fighting arthritis, cancer and heart disease ... and they're wonderful for your bones. Eat all the cherries you can while they are here. Freeze a few for shakes!
3/4 C. part-skim ricotta cheese
1/4 C. plain yogurt – or Greek yogurt
1 C. chopped cherries (drain most of the juice – or not)
1/4 t. vanilla extract
Pulse the cherries in your processor. Add the balance of the ingredients. Chill thoroughly. Serve with celery sticks for scooping up the good stuff!!! This dip is also great with salted pretzels.
