John Ash – renowned chef, author and teacher visited
The Windsor Certified Farmers Market August 19th
John Ash shared his culinary insights and wisdom of “Seafood Watch,” an educational initiative for sustainable seafood by the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The few hundred that donned a seat that learned and saw the truth about the seafood we eat.
A fresh whole troll caught Bodega Bay King Salmon and Line caught Point Reyes Halibut was presented by Fisherman Mike Svedise owner of Santa Rosa Seafood who sells at the market each Thursday Night and all Sundays through December 16th.
Prepared by John Ash and Chef Mei Ibach, SRJC Culinary Instructor and the Windsor High School Culinary Arts Academy, it kept everyone wanting more.
